When I use ATI 2014 CD to boot up and do a cloneing operation, the computer appears to work up to a point that the final screen is nothing but a bunch of groups of truncated diagonal lines. Macrium is fast, doesn't use up resources and is highly reliable. You can even restore onto a bare metal drive (unformatted, brand new drive) with no problem. You can do HDD imaging and then restore to either the same or another drive. I've tested the heck out of it and it works.

The only such program I've found that I would trust is Macrium Reflect (I own 4 licenses for the pro version and use it for all my machines). I wouldn't trust ATI at all, along with several other cloning/imaging packages out there. Then it failed miserably just when I needed it the most. The clone worked fine, that is until I tried to do a restore. I once owned and used Acronis True Image and had a very negative experience with it.
